Website Rationale

We designed this website according to the structure of Bethel’s Communication Plan. Click here to explore the Communication Committee page with more information.

Bethel’s website is a vast trove of information including pages about us, how we worship, what we do, our related organizations, how to give, and a secure area for private members information. It was designed to give a space for the collection and sharing of the work of the church for and with the Bethel Family.

The bulk of the weekly traffic to our website focuses on these top areas of interest:

  1. Sunday Worship - Bethel Live links from the home page, which include the YouTube livestream and weekly bulletin and announcements

  2. Announcements - weekly Featured Announcements and Updates on the home page (curated by our leadership) + a link to the Announcements Archive where you can search by category or month.

  3. Bethel Calendar - linked from the home page.  Also found in the ‘What we do’ top navigation menu.

  4. Members Online Files and Announcements - password protected area linked from the top navigation menu and linked from each weekly Bethel Live.

We have made improvements to the flow of our website according to the 4 above areas of interest. The rest of the website is designed to allow visitors to explore what Bethel has to offer. The 3 latest weekly announcements (dynamic - changing) from any particular topic or group will automatically show up and remain on their respective (static-unchanging) pages.
