Indigenous Reconciliation
Recognizing that we are all treaty people, with gratitude Bethel acknowledges that the church where we gather is located on the original lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene peoples and the traditional homeland of the Métis Nation. Our water is sourced from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation.
Bethel seeks to be a community marked by the love of God responding to the calls for peace, justice and reconciliation. Bethel is currently walking along the path to understand how we can be active participants in the truth and reconciliation process.
