Church Council

The Church Council is a group that meets monthly to make decisions and recommendations regarding the actions of the congregation. It consists of the executive (Chair, Past or Future Chair, Member-at-Large and Secretary) and the chairs of the main committees of the church (Personnel, Gift Discernment, Deacons, Finance, Education, Worship, Legacy Fund, Property, Witness, and Communications). The Pastoral Team members are ex-officio members of the council. The executive sets the agenda and screens proposals for the larger body. The term for the Chair is two years, with extra years spent as Future Chair and Past Chair.
