Personnel

The Personnel Committee has an overviewing responsibility to ensure that pastors and support staff have the training and the means to conduct the church’s mission and that they are compensated according to approved guidelines . The committee applies staffing policies, assesses appropriate compensation and benefits, assures compliance with current regulations, and plays a leading role in hiring of new pastors and support staff.

  • Serves on the search committee and assists in the hiring of new staff.

  • Assists the Finance Committee in setting staffing budgets.

  • Reviews and updates job descriptions for the pastors and support staff.

  • Participates in church council.

  • Executes proper procedures for resignations, terminations and exit interviews.

  • Applies policies for vacation, maternity and compassionate leaves, and professional development.
