May 5 Worship Focus

Our post-Easter worship explores several of the “I am…” statements that Jesus uses to describe himself in the gospel of John. Who is the resurrected Christ? These profound images and metaphors offer much to feed our spiritual imaginations as we seek to live in the light of an empty tomb. This week we hear Jesus describing himself as the Way – not just our end or our destination in God, but the very path we walk to get there. “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
