Large Print Books

Some Bethel members have been requesting the addition of more large print books to the library’s collection. Three have been added recently. The Little Liar, by Mitch Albom, is a Holocaust story about a family from Greece and is told from the point of view of The Truth. It explores whether lying is always bad and how truth can be damaging. The Shepherd’s Granddaughter, by Anne Laurel Carter, is the story of a young shepherd girl in Palestine and her friendship with a boy from a neighbouring Israeli settlement. Uncharted Land, by Keely Keith, is a Christian romance with a dual storyline in the past and future. It looks at the historical relationship between a sheep farmer named Nicholas and a medical assistant named Sophie as well as the more modern relationship between Bailey, a plant biologist and Justin, a former naval officer.
