Prophet Song

Prophet Song by Paul Lynch is a dystopian saga that takes place in Ireland and provides a frightening look at what can happen when a government with authoritarian tendencies is elected. The protagonist of the novel is Eilish, a scientist, who tries to create some normalcy for her remaining three children after her husband is arrested and her oldest son goes off to join a rebel army.
