September 13 Worship Focus

As the fall begins, we embark on another journey through the biblical story from beginning to end, following the Narrative Lectionary. For this Sunday, we will explore the story of Noah, the flood, and God’s promise in Genesis. We will look at the flood as a kind of “do-over” of creation and at what happens when starting over does not work. Our focus will be on how God chooses another way, and what that might mean for us as people who are called to seek another way in a world marked by violence and brokenness.
