September 27 Worship Focus

Our worship this week acknowledges Canada's National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, which is marked each year on September 30. We are invited to remember the history and legacy of the residential school system, and celebrate the resilience of indigenous communities. We welcome Jonathan Neufeld as our guest speaker for this service. Jonathan is the Indigenous Relations Coordinator for MC Canada, but he has also recently taken on the role of Associate Director of the Coalition to Dismantle the Doctrine of Discovery. We look forward to hearing from Jonathan about the ongoing work that he supports through these roles.
