June 21 Worship Focus

This Sunday we continue our four-week June worship series taking us through the four chapters in the book of Ruth.  Chapter three brings the story to a place of bold action, as Naomi and Ruth determine to step through the doors that have been opened for them by the provision of God and the kindness of Boaz.  This initiative takes no small amount of courage and daring but reveals a faithfulness that continues to move this story from loss and grief towards renewal of life.

If you haven’t already, we invite you to find some time to read through the Book of Ruth – perhaps even in a single sitting!  This short book has only 85 verses over its four chapters, but it is a powerful story of God’s love and redemption at work, in and through the lives of ordinary people.
