As we enter into this new season in our worship, the Narrative Lectionary takes us into a journey through the Gospel of John. As Jesus invited his first disciples to “Come and see,” we are also invited to encounter the One who came as ‘the Word became flesh,’ the life of heaven come down to earth. In this week’s reading, we encounter the first of Jesus’ signs: water is turned into fine wine at a wedding feast in Cana of Galilee.
