Young Adults at Mennonite World Conference

In July, 2022, people from around the world gathered in Indonesia for the Mennonite World Conference’s 17th assembly, and a young adult group from Bethel was able to attend as well! They will be sharing with us about their experiences on Sunday, August 28, during the worship service. Make sure to attend in person or tune in online! In the meantime, here are a couple of photos from their time there.

 

Valerie Alipova and Amelia Warkentin, two participants in the Mennonite World Conference, show off swag featuring the #mwcmm logo for assembly 2022 in Indonesia. The bags were made by Balai Karya Berkat, a rehabilitation centre for people living with special needs, started by one of the first female pastors in Indonesia.
