April 7 – Worship Focus

Our post-Easter worship explores a number of the “I am…” statements that Jesus uses to describe himself in the gospel of John. Who is the resurrected Christ? These profound images and metaphors offer much to feed our spiritual imaginations as we seek to live in the light of an empty tomb. This first week after Easter, we begin with another story of resurrection as Jesus grieves the death of his friend Lazarus. “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live.”
