Harrow School

We are once again collecting donations of snack items for the students at Harrow School. Next time you are at the grocery store, would you consider picking up an extra package of snacks to share with our neighbours? All snacks must be non-perishable, packaged in individual servings, and nut free. Suggested options include cereal bars, fruit snacks, packaged crackers or cookies, or granola bars.

Providing snacks that the office can hand out to students, who are hungry and need a little extra, is one of the ongoing partnerships that we as a congregation have with Harrow School. Our Wednesday afternoon reading buddy program and the Harrow School Winter Concert cookie reception are other ways that we work with Harrow School throughout the year to serve families in our community. Thanks to these programs, it’s rare for me to visit at the school without children immediately identifying me as the local pastor—a reminder of the ongoing relationship that we at Bethel have with the school community.

Your snack donations can be left in the marked bin by the mailboxes in the foyer. Thank you for sharing a little love with our neighbours in this tangible way!
