Learn to Navigate Bethel’s website: An Update and New Upcoming Sessions

We had 3 Zoom sessions between January 30th and February 3rd. Each session was unique as we had a chance to fellowship, laugh, and learn together. I was able to gather a great deal of meaningful feedback and perspectives, which I am very thankful for.

Judging from the success of the last 3 sessions, the Bethel communication committee would like to extend an invitation for 4 more Zoom sessions coming up later this month:

  • Saturday Feb 19, 11am-noon

  • Monday Feb 21, 2-3pm

  • Thursday Feb 24, 10-11am

  • Thursday Feb 24, 7-8pm

What you can expect from the 1 hour session:

  1. Introductions

  2. Sharing a favourite website

  3. Learning outcomes

    • Set up or confirm personal account for Bethel’s website

    • Identify the top 3 things that you go to Bethel’s website for

    • Navigate to your top 3 things on the Bethel website

    • Have some of your questions answered

    • Share feedback which will be brought to the Bethel Communication Committee

Here are some anonymous comments from a few of the participants in the first round of sessions:

The tutorial gave me a very helpful overview of Bethel’s website and provided tips to allow me to access content more easily. Martin has a good sense of humour and is very patient during the tutorial. I would encourage others to take the tutorial.
I want thank you for so patiently taking the time to help me learn to navigate the new Bethel website. I had no idea how much was available! I’m always happy to learn new things I can do on the internet!
I now know: (1) There’s more than one way to find what I’m searching for. (2) If I get lost along the way I can always find Home by clicking on the Bethel logo, top left corner. (3) That no matter what I do there is no way I can delete or ruin what you have done!
I greatly appreciated the session, sharing your expertise and time, making the navigation understandable and having us feel validated for ANY questions. THANK YOU!
