Kevin Derksen

Lead Pastor

Kevin came to Bethel in the summer of 2023.  He grew up here in Winnipeg at River East Church before moving to Ontario and spending 14 years as a pastor in a Mennonite congregation near Waterloo. 

Kevin has degrees in bible and theology from Canadian Mennonite University and McMaster University, though credits most of his pastoral training to the congregations that have loved and nurtured him over the years. 

Kevin gets excited about collaborative leadership that shapes our imagination as people of faith in Jesus. 

He is married to Pam, and has three school-aged children.
