We are tired, and our world is weary. This Advent season we wait expectantly for the promises of God that cause a weary world to rejoice. We begin with the promise of truth, which reveals both the hard realities of our lives and the new thing here and on its way in Jesus.

Adult Education

On December 1, the first Sunday of Advent, MaryLou Driedger will lead the inaugural “Delighting in Scripture” session: Getting to Know Elizabeth. Elizabeth is mentioned in only one chapter of the Bible, yet she plays an important role in the gospel story. MaryLou will help us get to know Elizabeth better as we look at how notable works of art in the past and present have portrayed Elizabeth. How might each of us connect personally with Elizabeth’s story?
