November 1 Worship Focus
· Theme: Solomon’s Wisdom
· Scripture: 1 Kings 3:4-9, 16-28
· Speaker: Valerie Alipova
This fall we have embarked on another journey through the biblical story from beginning to end, following the Narrative Lectionary. This week we will be looking at Solomon’s request for a discerning heart. We will explore what it means to listen for God’s wisdom in the middle of our busy lives, especially when things feel complicated and we are not quite sure what to do. What might we notice if we made more room for God’s wisdom to take shape within us?
