Christmas 2: Be Amazed - Come and See

Scripture: Isaiah 60:1-3, John 1:35-51

Our Advent and Christmas season continues our journey through the Bible following the Narrative Lectionary. On this Sunday, we are invited to notice the light of Christ and to respond to Jesus’ simple invitation to come and see. In Isaiah, God’s light shines in the darkness and draws people forward. In John’s Gospel, Jesus meets ordinary people who are curious and at the same time unsure and searching, and he calls them by name.
