August 10 Worship Focus –

Our summer worship series features a wide range of texts and topics drawn from the questions we have received from the Bethel community via our Suggestion Box. This week’s question has to do with how we name God and think about the attributes of God. Many of our understandings of God’s attributes shift over time and reflect our human understanding of God and the various contexts of our lives. In recent years, God’s inclusivity has been receiving increased focus at Bethel. What are the risks and benefits of giving strong emphasis to this aspect of God’s character for Bethel at this time?
