This month marks 500 years since the first baptisms in Zurich, Switzerland that have come to symbolize the beginning of the Anabaptist faith tradition of which our congregation is a part.  As we acknowledge this significant anniversary, we will spend a few weeks considering “Anabaptism at 500” as a 16th century story, as a 21st century story, and finally as a global Mennonite story.  What does it mean for us to live into these stories of faith that we have received – here at Bethel and around the world?
