Winnipeg Pride Parade

The Winnipeg Pride Parade will take place this Sunday, June 1 at 11am. Bethel will once again display its banner alongside several other affirming Mennonite congregations in the city.
 
Anyone is welcome and encouraged to attend the parade, but there will also be a group of Bethel representatives carrying our banner along the parade route. If you would like to participate in this way, please contact Grace Loeppky.
 
On the morning of the parade, Hope Mennonite Church is hosting a joint Mennonite Pride Worship Service at Thomson Funeral Home (669 Broadway) and inviting any who want to attend.  There will not be an offering taken during worship but for those wanting to contribute financially, here are two amazing organizations: Rainbow Well (rainbowwell.ca/donate) and In This Together (inthistogethernetwork.ca/donate). The service will end before 11:00 am to give the folks walking in the parade time to get over to the start of the parade.
