Worship - Sunday AM
Our Worship Services
Join us at 10:00 am every Sunday morning for an hour-long worship service. During this hour we sing hymns accompanied by a piano and sometimes other instruments. Normally we have a choir (Bethel Singers or Men of Song), a small vocal assemble or instrumentalists helping to lead us in worship and singing.
Our services normally include scripture reading, prayer, a children’s time, an offering and a 20-minute sermon. We celebrate the Lord’s communion three to four times throughout the year.
Our sanctuary has an area at the back for parents with young children and a nursery full of toys where you can also listen and watch the service. We have headsets available at the sound booth for those with hearing difficulties and a number of wheelchair spaces for those who require such space.
We celebrate the special times of the church year including: Advent and Christmas, Lent and Easter, as well as Pentecost. There are special services throughout the year apart from Sunday morning, these include: Christmas Eve, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.
Recognizing that we are all treaty people, with gratitude we acknowledge our gathering on Treaty No. 1 land and the traditional homeland of the Metis Nation.
Imitating the inclusive welcome of Jesus, we seek to be a community marked by the love of God.
Regardless of age, race, or sexual orientation, we invite you to make Bethel your spiritual home.
Sharing the peace of Christ, together we strive to reveal the realm of God in the world.
