January 28 – Worship Focus

·      Theme: Sermon on the Mount – This Way or That Way

·      Scripture: Matthew 7:13-29

The Sermon on the Mount concludes with a series of contrasting images (wide and narrow gates, good and bad trees, wise and foolish builders). The effect of these sayings of Jesus is to direct us to consider carefully which way we will choose, as we go about living our lives as disciples of Jesus. May we have the courage to choose the good way of the kingdom, the path that leads to life abundant!
